The Role
As Public Affairs Manager, you’ll be responsible for the development and execution of Duni Group’s public affairs and public relations strategy. You will ensure that Duni Group has an updated understanding of sustainability regulations, how it impacts the company and our portfolio, and how we communicate and proactively position ourselves towards key stakeholders. The tasks include responsibility to support the organisation with external messaging related to regulations. This is a dual-role position with a 60/40 focus on public affairs and public relations.

This role is based at Duni Group’s headquarters in Malmö and offers a flexible hybrid working model and day-to-day work in a dynamic, international, cross-functional context. You will be part of a cheerful and energetic team and report directly to the Chief Sustainability, IR/Communications and New Business Officer (CSCO), with a dotted line to the Head of Communications to ensure strategic alignment across external messaging and brand positioning.
You will work closely with various functions at HQ and in Duni Group’s organization internationally – such as Group Communications, Group Sustainability, Business Area Dining Solutions, Business Area Food Packaging Solutions, Operations, Marketing and product management etc. You will also engage with key external stakeholders and public affairs partners.
Your ability and passionate interest in building a strong internal and external stakeholder network will be key for success in this role.

Who are you?
To succeed in this role, you need to be able to work independently, take your own responsibility and make informed decisions. You have good communication skills and are pedagogical in your way of summarising complex legislation and communication, and sharing your knowledge. It is an advantage if you have experience from the packaging industry.
Successful candidate will have:
4-5 years of relevant professional knowledge related to public affairs, public relations, sustainability, regulation, and working in an international environment.
University degree or equivalent in public policy, public relations, political science, communication or a sustainability area, e.g. environmental sciences or similar; or a relevant academic area with clear sustainability focus.
